Amitabh Bachchan Reveals That His Assets Worth Rs 2800 Cr Approx, Would Be Divided Equally Amongst Abhishek Bachchan And Shweta Bachchan Nanda
During a recent event, when Amitabh Bachchan revealed that his property would be divided equally between both his children- Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan
Amitabh Bahchan often takes to social media to shower his
love on kids, especially on daughter Shweta Bachchan. Big B has always made
sure to tell the world that how lucky he has been that he’s blessed with a
daughter like Shweta. During a recent event, Big B revealed that his property
will be equally divided into his kids- Shweta and Abhishek. The Beti Bachao,
Beti Padhao campaign ambassador has said that Abhishek will not be the solely
owner and will not have full authority to his property.
A report in Times Of India states that when Big B was asked about his will, he revealed that his property will be divided equally between both his children. Earlier, on his Twitter he had said, “When I die, the assets I shall leave behind shall be shared equally between my daughter and my son.” While praising Shweta he had also said, “Nothing brings greater pride to a father than this achievement of a daughter. Daughters are special. From this little 'ghunghat (veil)' to the 'best seller'.” Big B has been a brand ambassador for gender equality for a long time now. The megastar has also been the face of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign, for quite some time now.
In September 2016, Big B had addressed a letter to his
grandkids Aaradhya and Navya. In his letter, he had wrote, “Don’t live in the
shadows of people’s judgement. Make your own choices in the light of your own
wisdom. Don’t let anyone make you believe that the length of your skirt is a
measure of your character. Don’t let anyone’s opinion of who you should be
friends with, dictate who you will be friends with. Don’t get married for any
other reason other than you want to get married.” He added, “This may be a
difficult, difficult world to be a woman. But I believe that it is women like
you that will change that. It may not be easy, setting your own boundaries,
making your own choices, rising above people‘s judgement. But you, you can set
an example for women everywhere.”
